need to replace seal on caradco casement windows----looks like your 58-053 bubble seal---round and pushes into a channel---could this be the same bubble seal used on caradco windows.

Yes, the 58-053 is intended to be inserted in a preexisting groove, not mounted flat on the window.

My Windsor wood casement windows have a groove around all 4 sides, but only the top and sides have this type of weather stripping installed. (some dont have any weather striping at all).
