Hi How to measure non tilt windows tube balance installed (not removed) As I don't know the length of the tube without removing it from the window.

Hi, I have old Mercer windows from 1993? The parts are still in the windows themselves, so I don't know how to identify them. I am in Fort Pierce, FL. I need a total of eight spiral balances. Four that are 27”x (9/16” diameter), and four that are 31”x (9/16” diameter). They are very old and there is no color code. Also, these are non-tilt windows. They are double hung in wood frames. Photos are incl ... (cont.)

Hello:Hopefully, the attached photos (5 of 7, 2 more to follow) will assist you in identifying, with specificity, what I believe to be are 4 (four), 25 inch long (by their metal sleeves), 3/8" wide (by their metal sleeves), Non-Tilt, with a Clear/Yellowed top cap/plug, spiral sash support balances.W ... Need replacement for spiral balances.

The color looks white to me, can I use the red ones?

I think this part retains the spiral balance. As you can see it's missing on one side of the window. Do you have a replacement? Thanks for any advice!

The old balance had no clip. It's 23" long and 5/8" wide. On this non tilt window. The last photo looks up the sliding window. I need 2 balances and clips

Balance is 30 long x 3/8. Window is 52 wide x 62. Any help would be appreciated. Regards Ed Ehrke

Hello, We are replacing the spiral tube windows balances for vintage windows measuring 5/8" diameters and 31" tubes. They are the old vintage ones. Do the updated spiral tubes work in lieu of the vintage ones?

I spoke with a Rep a few minutes ago and before I order about 50 30" Red Spiral Tension Rods. It appears some of my Tension blocks - which are screwed in from the factory from the 'outside' - have turned a quarter turn (from force). have the shoes and a few new balances. I will need, a some point new 300 series Caldwell balances and should probably need new shoes, but for now I only need the wind up tool with the claw on the end to twist the spring.
