Hello, We are replacing the spiral tube windows balances for vintage windows measuring 5/8" diameters and 31" tubes. They are the old vintage ones. Do the updated spiral tubes work in lieu of the vintage ones?

I spoke with a Rep a few minutes ago and before I order about 50 30" Red Spiral Tension Rods. It appears some of my Tension blocks - which are screwed in from the factory from the 'outside' - have turned a quarter turn (from force). I have a window (non-tilt, non-removable sash, aluminum) that the balancer installations look different on the left than on the right. I have double hung windows. The pane is 28 pounds. The existing channel balance is 24" long and is hooked on an opening below a screw hole (see picture 4). The screw hole is 1" above the opening, so do I get a 24" long replacement, or do I get a 25". Thanks

The bottom sashes (the only sashes I'm working on as the upper sashes are painted shut and won't be used anyway) are 9.4 lbs. The tube is 28" long and the diameter is 5/8". Thanks so much!

How can I get tool to tighten balance

Hi, I don't have any photos, only a couple of stripped down sashes without balances. You can kinda see the imprint of the old balance in the paint against the jamb. Hi, I have some single hung windows in a house I just bought that have the following numbers on the tag: DH-R30 MST 4080 Series 300/700/2300/2700. I don't see any removal clips like my old windows had. Is there a way to remove the moveable and the fixed sashes? Thanks.
