Hi Swisco experts, I've got several balances that need replacement. It appears the nylon hook attachment to the tilt piece place has also snapped. I have identified the windows as being manufactured by Harcar Aluminum Products at 1201 Cornwall Rd, Sanford, Florida...no longer in business. I have attached photos of the window. This is a General Aluminum non-tilt window with spiral balances. I've read through the information on your site, but there seems to be a clip blocking access to the spiral. How do I adjust or replace this balance?

We removed spiral balance (23 inch red tip) and could only find remnants of the shoes. We've purchased the balances from swisco with 15-012 shoes. It's a premier window brand. It is a tilt window with the foot and shoe similar to the Marvin.

Body is 12 in Long 3/8 in tubular and screws in at the top. I cannot seem to find the bottom connector that locks it to the window. Please help me if you can thank you Bill
