Looking for balance sash for kinro single hung Windows. Has a spiral rod that is inside of a metal tube. The seal or stopper at the bottom of the metal tube goes up in the tube because the tubing has expanded and now has a gap ( see photo #3) This is probably due to sun and heat on the west side o ... window will not go up
Hi replace my spiral balance and the window will not go up at all after I install 29" s900 red-tip spiral balance the window has two on each side . The window was opening before I replace with new ones.

Spiral balance adjustments
We purchase a home last October that was built in 1994. It has Alcoa tilt windows that are very difficult to open and close. Window will not stay up
I have several of these windows throughout the house. Three of them will not stay up. Picture shows the type of spiral devise that is suppose to keep them from dropping. Could you help me fix this. Thank you

Windows hard to open/close
Windows are Alcoa tilt type and are very hard to open/close. When you get it down all the way (fighting it to go down) it springs back up 3-4". You have to hold it down to be able to close the latch. Can these be adjusted or do the spiral balance have to be replaced? House was built in ... (cont.)

I have a broken part on a window, but I am not sure of the part ID.
Can you help me with Identifying and ordering a replacement part? I have not been able to ID any part numbers, but I have an included a photo of the broken part. The middle section of the plastic part has broken and the metal part will not longer stay secure in the plastic part.

Looking for the right pivot shoe. Also the swivel balance that is 3/8 at 30" long and 28 3/4"long. when retraced all the way in. The windows a aluminum single hung tilt outs. What charge tool do I need?
I have windows that won't stay up, so I know I need to tighten the spiral balances but I am unclear on which spiral balance charge tool I need. Since you sell two, which one do I need? 75-006 or 75-033? Thank for your help.

My windows need help
Please help me choose the hardware I need to rebuild "Thermal 1 " aluminum frame windows made by Amacor Industries, Delmont, PA. The windows measure approximately 40" wide by 65" high, overall. loud spiral balances
The spiral balances in most of my windows make loud banging noises when I raise the windows. They have come loose a well and I bought a tensioner to replace them. I'm wondering, however, if I should just replace them? Thanks!

Spiral balance does not fit
I received the S900- 27" spiral balance for my Better Bilt Window and it seems not to be the right size. The window is single hung 54 high X 34 wide and the lower window weighs 18 pounds. For the measurement, I measured from the top of the window to the top of the lower window when closed. 27" is ... (cont.)
