75-006 Spiral Balance Charging Tool for Tilt Windows

Hello....trying to purchase 8 of these Pivot shoes. See image for part and window information.

What size do I require? and what type of balancing tensioning tool do I require? I believe that Acorn is a British company that for a short time sold windows in the USA? Is that correct?

My Pivot shoes look like these but have screws in them look like they are holding Spiral in. Do I just remove and put in new shoes? Also the round part of the shoe that holds the window pulled out when I removed the window. Do I need new shoes or can I get it back in the shoe. I have tried but ... (cont.)

I have a balance rod that measures .538 with digital calipers and it measures 21" long and it has a red bushing in the end. Will the 3/8 balance work as a replacement? Your item S900-21? Thanks Phil

I have a number of windows with the sash pivot bar rusted and broken both inside the pivot lock shoes and worse, inside the bottom of the window. I can not get the pivot bar out of the window or the pivot lock shoes. I think the replacement part numbers are 26-040 for the pivot bar, and 15-045 for ... (cont.)

Window has upper and lower section. Upper section is stationary and lower section opens and tilts inward. Window does not stay up and falls out when trying to tilt inward. Hi, The window like in pic 5 will barely hold a position when open, so I thought I should place the spiral balancers. I ordered 4 series 400 35" spiral balancers last week and just installed two on a window. Window now can half-hold like pic5. I wonder that i may need to change the shoes too? ... (cont.)
