I need a replacement track for a Benning sliding door 6 foot. The door is about 40 years old and works great when I put a track cap on the old track but it doesn't last but a year then I need to replace it again. Think I should replace the entire track if there is something available. ... (cont.)

Having trouble determining if existing door has removable track cap. Can you confirm if it appears appropriate to plan on simply adding a 1/4" track cap over existing track (or if an old one needs to be removed). Thank you! Doug
