Good Morning All, We have five sliding doors which need the rollers replaced and your 81-279 looks and measures just like the ones we have. The only thing is ours has nylon/plastic wheels. Wheel supporting our sliding glass door system has failed. We have been told by a glass company these parts are no longer available. We are hopeful after you have seen these photos a replacement can be recommended. Thank you.

Hi Mike,I believe you are correct that the 81-081 roller is the correct replacement for yours but with a steel wheel instead of nylon. This roller with a steel wheel will still work for you as long as all fo the dimensions line up but if you prefer to use a nylon wheel, you could replace the wheel i ... (cont.)

My windows are new air so I Am guessing the glass doors are also. Not sure if nylon rollers would be smoother rolling ?

The patio door was installed in 1957. i need to replace the roller and am not sure of the part. I dont think it is still being manufactured, but need to know an equivalent part?? thank you

Hi, trying to find rollers for a sliding door that was installed 40 years ago from Australia. No branding that we can find- the wheel is 1-1/4" diameter, width of the whole bracket is about 5/8" (16mm). it is exactly like your 81-082 but only 3/4" wide. How do I find a narrower option? Note the machine bolt that secures the side style to the bottom rail is 1/4" ? 20 and is 1 3/4" long.

Looking for replacement rollers for a closet mirror door.
