I have an old style 82-005. For some reason, I have been missing the strike latch that screws into the jamb. I've installed the new style latch, but it's still not quite right. The 82-225 photo is not the same as the lock patent 919213. I would like to try if it works. Please show me how to replace it. My first problem is how to remove the old lock internal components, please see the photos. Many thanks.

I would like a replacement for the pictures above. The screw to screw measurement is 4 15/16". The customers would like to be able to lock it from the outside. The strike is missing from the mine in the pictures and I would need another strike as well. It looks the key lock is a Schlage SC1. TIA ... (cont.)

I realize that this is discontinued. I looked at your Classic and the hole pattern is different. The mounting hole spread is 9 1/4" and the width is 1 1/4". The Hurd p/n is 120-50. Thanks.

I do not see any names, but there is a "w" or "m" marking as the manufacturer's symbol as seen on the lever for the latch in the first photo. My first question is if you know what the manufacturer's name is/was? These are most likely installed in 1960. The second question is if there would be any ... (cont.)
