82-043 Andersen Tribeca Thumb Latch Replacement

I have an 82-043 installed on my sliding glass door. It locks from the inside and has a key lock on the outside. This was done by prior owner's. I what to lock from the outside, can I just get a key made Or if I order a replacement does it come with a key. Thank You

The latch snapped off our patio door. I've shown the picture and measurement of the latch plate. The inner cartridge is Anderson and the # is 2565507.Thanks for checking into this.Brilliant of you to use technology to make this process easier.Jan

How do I install the thumb latch? It won?t go in straight so when the door is closed it hits the interior door jamb

I need to replace my door handle with a crappy improvised installation and swiss-cheese holes cut in the door frame. The door is an unusual 2" thick. Patio slider door has thumb latch, on inside, and keyed mechanism on outside...both need to be replaced, key lock has broken shaft that turns and unlocks door, age of door related. This is an Anderson door at least 20 years old. It is not brass and not nickel....the insides need replaced also. What do I order ?
