18-034 Top Sash Guide

I found the spiral bancers, now I need the top sash glides.

Hi , we have about 30 windows we are trying to restore , all need these spring arm's and other parts attached to it replaced , I've never worked with this style of window, can you help ? M

We removed spiral balance (23 inch red tip) and could only find remnants of the shoes. We've purchased the balances from swisco with 15-012 shoes. Then we looked harder at the window frame and found what I think is part of a shoe attached to it. The photos are of the jam remnants and the window fram ... (cont.)

I need to buy replacement parts and get your advice on how to install the rods. I don't have the type that connects to the bottom of the sash.

None of the sash guides I see appear to correspond with what I have (replacing spiral balancers S305-23). The closest guide is 18-034. However, the dimension of the width indicates is 1/2", but my existing sash guides are only 7/16" wide. all other dimensions on that part appear correct except the w ... (cont.)

These top sash guides are going on your 305 Spiral 3/8 in diameter Balances. It appears they were 3/4 in wide across the top as they are a bit worn. 15/16 in from top to screw hole. Let me know if you need additional information.

Looking for 2 window guides? For Danvid windows manufactured in 2002. These pieces silt on left/right side top of window and snap to vertical bar. Please help

I recently bought a house that was built in the 60's. None of the windows will stay up. The old spiral rods have a red tip & are 24 inches long. Do I need the bottom sash clips in order to properly install the rods? Are there any other parts that will be required? Could you explain how to insta ... (cont.)

Looking for 20 pieces. I believe these are for international single hung aluminum. They square the sash in the frame. Thanks Jim

Please help identify these guides. Windows are 40 years old. Non tilt, with 3/8" spiral balancer with red tip.
