Spiral balance shoe for non tilt single window
We removed spiral balance (23 inch red tip) and could only find remnants of the shoes. We've purchased the balances from swisco with 15-012 shoes. Top sash guide
None of the sash guides I see appear to correspond with what I have (replacing spiral balancers S305-23). The closest guide is 18-034. However, the dimension of the width indicates is 1/2", but my existing sash guides are only 7/16" wide. all other dimensions on that part appear correct except the w ... (cont.)

Top Sash
These top sash guides are going on your 305 Spiral 3/8 in diameter Balances. It appears they were 3/4 in wide across the top as they are a bit worn. 15/16 in from top to screw hole. Let me know if you need additional information.

I recently bought a house that was built in the 60's. None of the windows will stay up. The old spiral rods have a red tip & are 24 inches long. 305? Series Window Parts
Can't seem to find these exact parts as shown in attached images. House built 1972. Can you tell me the make of these windows? Spiral is 23" Red and looks like type 305 in your picture. Any info available on inspecting, cleaning, lubricating 305's Thanks, Ken
