Hi, The window in the attachment has old coiled spring balances that are needing to be replaced. It is a non-tilt window and there are no identifiers on the balances at all. The windows are from about the 1940s and they have tube balance system that I was told might have been called "unique balance". I'm not sure where to look for markings, but I can't find any. I need to replace window balances that appear to be 22" series 500 but do not have a color tip. Your color codes refer to general weights but how do they relate to an actual weight? My window weighs approximately 12 pounds. Thank you in advance for your guidance.
