S170-407 407 Series 170 Coiled Balance Spring

Coil balance is 3/4" wide and the sash weighs around 27 lbs. I found part S170-409 but I am not sure the weight limit. No stamp on balance.

The last time this was fixed Anlin windows tech left one set of spare springs marked SA 497 (or maybe 407) & LA 407. Looking for replacement spring and maybe the other associated parts if needed.

Window doesnt stay up anymore.

the 409 is for a weight of 9lbs. we need this reference 170 409 to 9lbs, but we also need to 12lbs and 14lbs. It is possible?

On coil balance is the number 407 J. I think I need both pieces, The one that holds the coil and the pivot lock shoes. The windows at 23 years old according to the tag. Any help would be appreciated.

Ceertanteed brand window. Broken since we moved in years ago. Will not stay open on its own. Coil spring in track on each side.

Hello! I have vinyl double hung Simonton windows from 2010. I believe the existing coil balance is labeled "407S" ?? It is difficulty to identify. Can you assist with which weight is necessary for coil balance to replace the part?

I have 2 Certainteed widow that I need a set of balances for each window. The 1st window is 27 " and weighs 15.2 lbs The 2nd window is 24 1/2" and weighs 13.8 lbs

Looking for parts for our old windows - Owen Corning from 2001. The coil springs of several windows are breaking. The pivot shoe dimensions : 1 1/4 , 1 1/2 and 7/8. The number on the pivot shoe is 9. The number on the coil is 10.

no numbers. spring is 3/4" wide. approximately 36" long. bottom window weighs 13.5 lbs

Number on spring 4075

The coil spring on the left upper sash snapped on my Certainteed replacement window ala 1994. Everything else is fine. Just the spring broke. Can I just replace the coil? Since it just screws on? Number on it is 407 5K. Thanks!
