I have a townhouse built in the early 90's that needs window balances. attached are a few photo of the old balances. i believe i need the S380-35. but the bottom channel balance shoe does NOT measuring 1" in depth (as seen in pic "Bottom5") as your diagram shows for the part #S380-35 . I just ordered: 35" Series 380 Channel Balances S380-35 option: 3450 However, my window is 38lbs, a 50" double pane. I 'assume' the option 3450 is the heaviest load available and it will work much better than my broken one. Can you confirm my assumption? Thanks, Joe

I am trying to match a channel balance and sash guide...when I type in the stamp number to help identify the balance it measures metal end to metal end 35" but the shoe, top and sash guides don't match...the stamp is 3440 PR BSI....the sash weight is 50 lbs...I have attached pictures with measuremen ... I have a 35" X 9/16" balance with 3440 stamped on it. Window has a 5/8" sash guide, Norandex 18-161. Balance looks similar to your 35" Series 380. My top piece and shoe (see photos) look similar to yours. Do I have the correct part? What is the 3440 option?

I am unsure of the stamp option to chose for my 4 channel balances that have to be replaced. The best fit seems to be 35" Series 380 Channel Balance Product Code: S380-35. The stamp on the original says 34-5 GA2 CMC 19
