Bedroom window will not stay up in position. Window measures 36 1/2" W X 55 3/8" H....No identifying brand name inside sash frame. Only a AAMA CERTIFICATION PROGRAM DECAL ( with series and numbers). I would like to replace a broken coil balance part for my upper window sliding mechanism.

Existing parts are less than 1 1/4' in width. I measured it between 3/4 and 5/8 of an inch. I am returning 1 1/4; do you have the right replacements?

Please help me ID these coil balances. The windows are approximately 13-14 years old and are single hung. There appear to be different balances on each side and the metal part is marked with a "4". The window sash falls closed and will not stay open. Thank you for your help!

In search of a new coil balance to match the attached pictures.

Just need one It is about ten years old.

I can find no marking on these balances at all. Not on the coils, which seem to be worn nor the plastic housing. There is no labels on the windows to match builder to part. The balances are single coil. The length of the top piece is 1 5/8" and, together the two pieces are 2 7/8" long. It is an ... (cont.)

I need 6 window balancers. I'm not sure what brand of vinyl window it is but it is builder grade for a 21 year old house. The metal tape is stamped 540. That is the only identifying number. Can you help me identify what parts I need?

I am told by the manufacturer that I need two balances to keep this window open.

I NEED YOUR HELP TO IDENTIFY THIS PART FOR MY TILT VUNYL WINDOW.

I have a window from CertainTeed manufactured in March 2006, series 8500 36x72". The label is attached. The plastic cam in the pivot shoe is broken so the shoe will not lock in place when the window is tilted. The spring has snapped up into the top of the channel and the window will not stay open.
