I have old Andersen windows with string balance..... the code stamps on one size is E19 9 27 4? ....and 615 10 31 R71 this second number is a cottage window so will need opposite balance as well

I'm preparing to repair a few original AW sash balances in my 1983 home. Starting with the smaller bathroom AW, I found the code "J85 5#23 383" stamped on the broken left balance. I did not remove the unbroken right side. Can you recommend the pair of sash balances from the above code? TYVM ... (cont.)

I need a couple of different sashes. I need 4 that look like they are stamped E86 9#2 84. I also need 2 that look like they are stamped 4=19 1283 but the = sign has a line through it.

I am unsure which one is the replacement balancer. The visible glass measurement are 27 15/16 heigh × 28 7/16 width any help identifying would be much appreciated.

looking for the correct part number to order on the back there is 11600-3 the front is a bit harder to read I believe one of the number is 11600-17 The attached picture shows a number of E25 9#27 5-85

What replacement balance will I need for an Andersen double hung windows. The number on the tab is 931 and R59 b00. The lower window glass width is 32" and the height 28".

my window sashes make a loud screech/squeak and are very difficult to open and close. they are Andersen double hung windows (both sashes move). they are not tilt wash. I believe they were purchased and installed in 1985 (approximately) Am i correct in assuming that the balances need to be replaced ... (cont.)
