I'm trying to find out the replacement part # for sash balances from my Andersen windows. E6 9#31 3 81 is stamped. And other windows is 11600-17. Any help in identifying which sash balances I need would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I need to identify the part that I need to replace. It is a sash balance. The markings are 11600-3 on one side. On the other side it is marked 11600-17, then has heavy markings E26 9#31 6-85. I just tried opening two Anderson windows that have not been open in quite a while. They both have problems with the cord to the bottom sash. One sash has both cords bowing out and thus the window will not hold open. The other has only one cord not operating properly. Is the cause of this a problem ... (cont.)

I'm new to your site. Recently, my father passed away, and I'm settling his estate.
