70-204 Slip-On Latch With Ball Head Screw

Some of the latches on my 27 year old windows are broken. It looks like your Malta screen latches are the same size, but is it possible to clip them into the existing screen? My screens are quite large and don't have holes; those that did were replaced some time ago. All I want is to see if there ... (cont.)

There are no markings on these.. I bought the house and the screen haven't been used except in the bedroom where I took this one off. There are 2 per screen only used on the bottom..

I would like to make a window screen for the window I'm attached photo. The window frame has no channels and a slanted bottom sill. I had planned on inserting tension clips to keep the frame in place. Where would I insert these? One side and top? Just side? Any other adjustments or parts Inwould nee ... (cont.)

AS far as I can tell these clips 70-048 are the right size the Measurement is about 1.56 inches that compares with 1 9/16 I saw in another post. My only question is if I order about 30 and they don't fit can I return them? Thanks Don

Part 70-048 worked well for me on my Malta double-hung windows. This is not the same as the original tan ones. You need to bend them a little to get them to work. It took about three minutes to replace each one. Remove about 2? of spline from the corner, pop that part of the screen and the broke ... (cont.)
