HelloI have a Pella retractable screen for a slider in a home which was built mid-90s. The screen still works well, but the hook to hold it closed broke off inside the mechanism. Not sure. It may be a 83-115? How can I find the right part? Who would stock this part in Fargo ND? Thank for your support Mark

I?m pretty sure I need the above latch, but I can?t get out the old broken one. Before I purchase a new one, do you have any suggestions on how to remove the old one which is in a couple of pieces.

My latch sheared off but appears to be the same one in the video from what I can see (83-115), but I want to remove it and measure to make sure. I can remove the screen protector (outside piece) but the inside handle doesn't have exposed screw heads. Is that inside handle finish something I can re ... (cont.)

Need plastic curved latch to open and close screen doors, they broke off

Our latch in our door broke off, attached are pictures of our latch mechanism which differs from your video. There are no apparent screws for the inside handle. Do you have a replacement part for our model and how does the inside handle get removed. Thank you. Marcia

My Pella casement over the latch does not have two screws as shown in your video. How do I remove the casement without breaking it?

Try to replace the handle and latch on a sliding Pella screen door, item no. 9682, Designer SmartSash, purchased 4/1995.

Need to reinstall the 83-115 latch handle. It appears that a spring is preventing the latch handle from being inserted into the door mechanism. Do I have to push back on the spring to reinstall the latch handle? If so how do I accomplish this feat?

See pictures. I believe that what is referred to as a screen door latch for my Pella designer series sliding door broke. Part 83-115 looks to be what I need as a replacement (in Champagne). Could you please confirm this?

The latch on the screen door doesn't work that well. For the door to shut, we have to lift it up so that it catches on the other side. If the clear plastic part was a bit longer, I think it would work.

We need to replace the plastic part of the latch on a Pella self closing screen door for a glass sliding patio door. I am not able to locate the door itself on any Pella sites.

How do I remove this handle to replace a 83-115 latch? I don't see 2 screws to take out to get to the guts. Do i have to tear of the fake veneer to find the screws? I'm afraid if I do that it will look crappy... and I will need to replace that somehow.. Do I need to remove this wood vaneer to acce ... (cont.)

Due to age the trigger to open the door has broke. I am looking to replace or improve the screen door handle.

I ordered and received both the 83-115 screen door latch and 83-118 protector to replace. However, we cannot get the old latch out. It seems to be hanging up on something, Have watched your video several times but wont come out. Can you give us any help? Thank you
