Hi, The string in my channel balance snapped. I'd like some help in identifying the right channel balance. The metal part is 19 inches. Also, it has the following markings: 18-5 G05 CMC 43 Thanks!

Originally for Windows manufactured by Northwest aluminum products. The balancers are stamped BSI on both. One is numbered 1820. The other is numbered 11220. They are identical other than the length

Markings on sash balance: 1820 B.S.I. V

I am returning the larger ones I purchased. I now found out that it is only 18". A neighbor where my house is took out the other one for me and found a marking on it. Do you have 18"? If not, I guess I could try the 19" and see if we can get them to work. Thanks.

Hello. The nylon piece in the window balance broke. I would like to order a replacement balance but am not sure which one I need. I think the boots guide is a Caldwell 15P170 and the top guide is a 15P124 but I'm not sure. I have more photos if needed. Thanks for your help!

Number on it could be 1840y. I think the window is a Window Master from around 1990. Thanks

Need a 19 inch channel balance for a Pella window model 5200 SH. Channel measurement is the from metal end to metal end.

Hello - I am missing both Channel Balances from a single hung non-tilt window. The brand of window is unknown / unmarked. Hope you can help me identify which channel balances I need to order. The stamp on my broken 19" balance is: 19 4 DU CNC 4 What will be the appropriate stamp option to order? i-phone photos were not accepted. Thank you for your assistance ! George P.

Metal bar 19" x 1/2". Foot is just over an inch. Window weight is 22.5 lbs. I believe I might have the correct part in my basket and I calculated the weight of the window 22.5 lbs to support the balancer ordered.

They measure 1/2" across and the length is 19". The sting on the one balance busted.

I was able to buy exact replacements in 2003, but can't find them now. The channel is 19-1/16 inches long. The photos show the relevant parts and markings. Window Master was purchased by Jeld-Wen sometime prior to 2003. They say these are Caldwell balances and the replacement is the Jeld-Wen 18-4. ... (cont.)
