Hi Swisco, Can you tell me which Window Balance i should buy for a replacement to this broekn one? The part is stamped with "26 5 HW CMC 7". Both ends are winged. I've sent the attached pictures to help ID. Thanks, Tom

Dear Sir, The string of the balance broke. It is inside a non-tilt milgard up and down window. Would appreciate very much if you can tell me the name of the replacement part. Thanks, Mark

It looks very similar to the following. 27" SERIES 385 CHANNEL BALANCE Product Code: S385-27 The markings on the sash says 26 9 LP Caldwell. There are no other stamps. The window is double pained ... I am looking to replace two balances as shown in the photos. The only thing stamped is 26 4 GO CALDWELL. They measure 27". What replacement would you recommend? Thanks

The spring connector broke, the piece measures 28 inches in all, the metal part being just under 27 inches, depth is 9/16 width is 5/8 , if you can recommend the correct part I would be very thankfull

Marked: 26 4 DQ CALDWELL Metal portion is 27 inches long. Metal width is 1/2 inch.

Hello can you assist with the proper parts to order. I've included samples photo, however both came out of the same window has a slight different number one read 26-4 BA CMC 7 and other 26-4 BA CMC 11, is that common or may be a tale tale sign one that broke is the CMC 7? My balance only has a number stamped on it which looks like 26 5 CMC 1. Any ideas? It is 27" without the ends and is installed in a non-tilt window made in 2005.

We are ordering channel balancers and the only stamped numbers on the current balancers we have show 265 so we ordered the 2650 option for 26-30 lbs., is that correct?

I am looking for replacement window channel balance marked 26 5 ET CMC 2. The length of the channel is 27" long without the plastic ends. Also would like to replace plastic ends with new ones as seen in provided photos. Thank you.

I placed an order for 4 27" SERIES 385 CHANNEL BALANCE in option 2630 and tried them on one of my windows. They seem to fit properly and allowed the window to slide up and down smoothly, however it would not stay up on it's own. I'm wondering if I need to get the heavier 2640 option, or even heavie ... I have a single pane window - 47.5" wide X 59.5" high rough opening. I think the window manufacturer is Marvin. The existing channel window balance has 26 5 GS CALDWELL stamped on it. Would like to get two pairs, plus one of the stops needs replaced.
