58-178 Pella Casement Window Rainstrip

18 year old casement and awning windows. Markings lost. Aluminum clad wood windows.

Is this sufficient information to identify this part? Or give me an idea? I want to be proactive and replace before they are completely worn, but for now they seems to be mostly okay. I just confirmed with the previous owner that they are in fact Pella windows.

I have som 1998 Pella Proline casements. Unfortunately, when they were installed, my builder scraped off all of the serial number decals. How is the rainstrip installed? Hi. Looking for proper replacement strips. About 7/16" width, simple single hook that slides into window groove. Can't find a model number on the windows just an etched Pella-P ARG on the glass, I'd estimate that they're late 1990s early 2000s?.

Are Lengths of Product Code: 58-178 sold in anything larger than 38" lengths? For runs longer than 38" does one just butt the ends together. Should butt ends be fastened together somehow? What is the purpose of the notched ends? Any tips for installing these? They tear while pulling t ... (cont.)

I am looking for a suitable replacement rain stop. These slide into the edges of the sash between the wood window frame and the aluminum cladding. Hello, I have ordered weatherstrip but I am wondering if there is any recommendation on adhesive to use with it? I basically have Pella wood windows, when I pull off old strip I saw there is a line of some adhesive, wasn't sure what you use. Thanks!

I have constant rain intrusion with these casement windows, which the previous homeowner identified as Pell, but Pella hasn't been able to help me resolve this - yet, and I'm trying to track down a rain seal that would work to install on the sash. Thanks! Spencer

5/8" rubber blade with a folded over top edge to fit into a grove in the frame of the wooden window.

I am looking for a replacement gasket for the bottom of our pella window. It is 26" long, 5/16" wide and where it fits into the bottom of the window is 1/16" wide. It appears to be plastic and is flat not tube type gasket

The dimensions of my old weatherstripping is not the same as item 58-178. Do you have other dimensions?

After looking at the website. I am fairly confident that I need part 58-178 rain strip for my 22 year old Pella casement windows. The specs on the strip say it comes in 38inch strips. I am looking for replacement weather stripping for the bottom of a 1997 Marvin awning window. The stripping is black firm plastic that attaches to a groove toward front of window frame and orients back toward frame. Photo attached. It is 5/8" wide and about 38" long.

In my opinion this appears to be your part number 58-178. The height is 5/8" and it has two barbs on one side at the top. See my pictures. I have a house full of 16 year-old Pella windows. The black rain stripping is deteriorating from around the casements. These are aluminum-clad wooden windows. Hello I'm searching for replacement weather stripping for a Pella casement window. Picture of the old strip is attached, measures about 5/8 inches? Can you recommend? Its brown, but I'm less concerned with color than I am fitting.
