These are Silver line windows, casement windows that I have had a problem with since they were installed. These clips keep bending and breaking. Do you know of any recalls? Hi have a few windows that all require an operator arm to be replaced. Not all have been rusted. In this particular case its fully rusted through and does not work well. Trying to replace this window crank

I purchased a house with a missing casement operator. I am looking for help in identifying a new one. I hope the attached pictures are enough to help figure this out. If unable to find the exact part I would settle for one I could make work with a cutting and caulk.

On this casement window the "C" shaped pin that holds the arm into the actual window, I believe due to the tension/weight/pressure of opening and closing, opens up ... the pin comes out and snaps off preventing the window from being reeled in to close because the arm is now detached from the actual ...
