Greetings..I am interested in replacing several 1/2" balances. I have 2 sizes needed (ACTUAL length of 16" and 22"). Original window manufacturer; Alenco 1999 or 2000.I am thinking that the top guide is a 19-005 and the bottom guide is a 15-001. The dimensions all fit except the depth of the shoe on the bottom is not a full 1 1/8" like a 15-001, but it is more than 1" like the 15-002. I think that reflects 18 year ... (cont.)

I purchased s395-34" (3340) and S395-22(2140) balances. In all of the windows the balance hook will not catch the window on the left hand side of the window only. What is wrong?

I've been having trouble with one of our kitchen windows that would not stay up, or slide up without difficulty. We managed to get the window sash out of the frame and took a look at the channels. Hi, I need to replace the channel balances for a Alenco window. The existing balance has B.S.I 2140 stamped on it with the letter "BH" also stamped near the BSI marking. I need balances for 25= year old Alenco window. The channel is 22 inches long, 9/16 wide and 5/8 deep. It has "21 C" stamped on the channel. Hello, I have a hung windo in a 20 year old house that appears to have a mix of S380 and S390 window channel balance according to your drawings. The stamped numbers on it are 2130 "C".
