I am not sure of the name of this part. But the piece that the door hooks cling onto in order to lock the door is missing from one of my sliding doors. The first picture shows what the piece looks like on a different door. Any help to buy a replacement would be greatly appreciated! ... (cont.)

I'm trying to replace the handle from my sliding glass door.

The latch for the sliding glass door will not raise the latch to lock the door. The inside lever is very loose and will no longer control the piece to latch on the lock.

The lower lever is the one I need. I received the upper lever. Note the difference in the location of the handle in relation to the pivot piece. There is less distance from where the latch pivots on the frame in the lower latch. The upper (newer) latch prevents me from fully securing the handle to t ... (cont.)

Would this hardware replace Milgard aluminum sliding door hardware? We have many customers that do not like the 'D' handle and are looking for a more contemporary solution.

Cant find anything about this lacth. Locking door latch, gear stripped so lock does not fully engage. No mfg info on parts. Can you identify for replacement? Thanks, Randy
