I am looking to purchase 4 of these balances. The number on the edge reads: 26 4 JL CALDWELL. The metal length is 27" even and have included the top and bottom photos for identification. Please provide your part number and I will purchase them ASAP.

Hello, Our single-pane windows won't stay up. We took the window out (it came right out after we raised it all the way) and the metal things on the sides just plopped out. This window balance spring came from a single hung window where each sash is 36 wide x 34 tall. The metal channel is 35" without the plastic ends and 35 3/4" with the plastic ends.

Need to buy a balance however not sure about correct part. There is an ink stamp (28 4 GV CMC 7) on the channel it is 1/2" X 29" the 2 end shoes have wing on it. the window are milgard and i think very close to 385 part from your website. could you please help me so i can order this part. please ... Need these parts to repair a single hung window in Florida residence. Manufacturer appears to be Simonton Windows: Simonton H LC45 - 53x77 single hung window series 435.

I need left and right channel balancers for window that installed in a new house in 1996 or 1997. The photo with the "unique" label is for a similar balancer that was installed some years ago in a similar window. Hello, We have several older Milgard windows that are 45"W x 69"H, Aluminum frame single hung, and non tilt. Some of them have a need to have the sash balance and/or sash shoes replaced. I have removed one of the sash balances and measured it to be 33"H (from metal tip to metal tip, 1/2"W, 1/2"D. ... (cont.)

Please see attached photos and let me know which replacement balance I need to order. Depth is 9/16" and width is 1/2", length is 33" (without fittings).

The existing channel is 29" long. The window weights 29 lbs. the closes I believe is the series 380 with the added weight.

The balancers I need to replace are stamped Caldwell 20 3 KK. I looked through your pages and it looks like it would be a S380-20.
