Jeld-Wen Siteline Casement Windows. Numbers etched in glass are "NRC-B-N-877" and the precise model is given, I am told, in the following number also etched in the glass: "G0316505688097."

Hurd windows crank works until you get here, then it just doesn't tighten. Looking in from the outside the gears slip vertically hence no tightening.

The crank handle was attached to part number 1491-120 B. The part numbers of the 2 metal bars that are connected to the crank seem to be S-1491-165 and S-1491-160. Even when trying to pull the window closed the bars don't move and the window is stuck open. I believe the mechanism itself is stuck and ... (cont.)
