My 5 windows are 20x41 with cranks at center bottom. The windows no longer open, unless sheer force is used, because of salt water damage. Is this the hardware I need? Thank you

I broke this. Can I replace the handle or do I need to replace entire hardware. Caradco window and the lever says truth on the bottom.

I know the whole unit needs to be replaced as the unit has 4 screws for side mounting, but I can't see how to access this area. It appears I would have to cut part of the window sill. Any thoughts?
