Markings on the Milgard balancer are "B.S.I. 2640".

Any idea if I can find this part for a Jordan side tilt window? The new balance won't attach properly because this black plastic cap aym the edge of the window is missing on the left side of one particular window

I bought a house that has #83-126 on the screen patio door. The door never had a keeper installed in order to lock the screen door with the latch. Window is missing both balances. Because of this we have not stamped number and no know manufacturer. Window is 23" tall. Pulled off another balance from same home but different window size and came to the conclusion that the metal channel should be about 22-5/8" long. Attached are the pictures fo ... (cont.)

Looking for these balances

first picture is two pieces.top piece is the spring mechanism and the bottom piece is the part that the ssh hooks into and slides on. Second picture is just the spring and the third picture is just the piece that the sash hooks into that slides up and down. The windows are from 2005 and are made by ... (cont.)

I have tried two or three different mechanisms for this particular sliding door. None are thin enough to go into the slot. And any suggestions?The biggest problem I have is that when we unscrew the old one, it fell into the door frame!

On the broken balance, I see Patent #'s 5.232.208 - 5.365.638 - 6.584.644. Pictures are from a similar window where the balance is working fine. Do you know what this part is?

Hi, I have vinyl double hung windows and a couple need pivot bars. I cannot find the manufacturer on the window, just size code. I also don't see it in your parts of pivot bars. Maybe you can find one or two of these for me. Thanks Patricia
