I have a casement door that has a problem: from a closed position, turning the crank handle counter clockwise opens the door. However, when turning the handle clockwise to close the door, the whole shaft just backs out of the casing. The door can be closed only by helping it along from outside while ... (cont.)

I have two pairs of windows that won't stay up. Both are SH 40x56 Simonton windows; two are 1/1 and two are 6/6.
