Single hung non-tilt window wont close all the way-it just needs another 1/4 inch to be able to lock.I have taken the sash out and cleaned, and siliconed the balances and still nothing. I am in need of a quick fix to replace sliding window latch-locks. Where to I find or who do I contact for this part? I think your 39-264 will work to replace these, how do I determine if I need the adapter plate? For your part, the outer screw holes are 3 11/16 inches apart, mine is about 4 3/4 inches apart, does that matter? thanks

Hi there ...the actual rod for most of the balances are 27". Was going to order 27" SERIES 385 CHANNEL BALANCE, Product Code: S385-27. Have I chosen correctly? There are 4 more pictures of the other end, but the site only allowed 5 to be uploaded.
