Can I use a stronger stamp than what my sash weight needs?
What would be the result of selecting a balance rated for a heavier sash? For example, what if I am replacing a pair labeled 26 4, which I understand to mean sash weight from 19 to 26 and requires stamp 2640, but choose instead stamp 2650, rated for 26 to 30. Would the sash still raise? Would it be ... (cont.)

casement window gear cover
I'm searching for a MW casement window gear cover. A Lowes employee told me the part couldn't be ordered without the number from the window sticker and I can't find a number on the window. The house was constructed in 1994 and possibly the window frame is original.

Hello. I'm looking to order some replacement channel balances and the original is stamped 28D. Following your selection guide, it matches the S380 description but I'm not sure of the Sash Weight Range since the 28D stamp isn't listed. Thank you for your assistance.

Replacement window latch
I need to replace the window latches on my windows. I think they are HR windows, but can't be sure. I called them because the mfg # on the tag referred me to them, but they couldn't say it was there window because there wasn't another sticker to verify.
