I am trying to replace the balance on a Simonton single hung window. Both of the balances need replaced. The entire balance needs replaced but the sliders appear to be fine. I have a pivot shoe that seems to not slide well at all. As a matter of fact, after taking my window out and noticing the two shoes were at different heights, I found it very difficult to move the shoe. Do they get stuck sometimes, and why. I've determined all info for ordering but am unsure about the ash weight code. There are numbers and letters stamped on the back o fate channel part. They are ; 27S30 stamped lengthwise and letters B S.I. Crosswise. The channel measures 28". I'm assuming it's a "B" weight?

Need some pivot shoes of 9/16 size. I watched video on replacing pivot shows, but I have NO removable stop. I have as shown one long piece covering the tube as shown. 1 inch door. I need a similar locking system for a the exact same door in the back yard. The screw hole are 3 15/16 I would like a keyed entry on the outside. If you have a kwikset key would be ideal, if not it is ok.
