i want replace anderson sash balance. The number is showing on existing sash balance is E119p27274. windows are prior to 1990 may be 1980's or there is any sash balance replaces all numbers' please help me

how do i find out what weight I need? I removed old balance and it showed a 9, so I purchased the 2520, but it was not strong enough to hold up the window. is the weight on the list the weight of the window?

The sash weight range is not on the balance spring. How can I determine the sash weight range? Is the sash weight the weight of the sliding window itself or the force it takes to slide the window up/down? Do I need to 1/2 the weight of the sash weight to determine the correct weight ran ...
