Hi there! This part referenced above looks like the part we need. All measurements line up except the the length. Ours is 3 1/2", yours is 3". Do you think it will work?

I am trying to fix a really old window. Attached you will find a picture of where the balance attaches to the bottom of the window. The sash "sleeve" is 27 inches long. It is 5/8 around. Are you able to identify the parts I need for its replacement? Thanks for your help. Zev

The stamp on the window balance says 28 3 JO CALDWELL. I measured 29 inches and need two of them if you have them. Please let me know. Thanks, Mike
