I have two styles of window, each with a different balance length but same shoes and tops on each. Both balance bodies are 9/16 inches wide and 5/8 inches deep. Andersen has different sash counterbalances for each side of the double hung window, ie, one marked for the left and one marked for the right. With the 939 do you just sell one for both sides? Is this product an actual Andersen product or an after market product?

Purchased custom double hung Windows from MI windows in 2008 but they are now discontinued. The balance system is broken on several of the Windows, so when you unlatch the bottom window to open, the top window comes sliding down, there is nothing holding it up. I have Milgaurd Non-tilt windows and are replacing the window balances, the 27" balance ( 1//2" wide ) is stamped with the number ( 26 9 CR CALDWELL ) the exact model would be a " series 385 but unsure of the rating as the stamped number does not match any of your post numbers ? This balance and pivot pin are from what I believe is a Capital double hung window. The upper sash weighs approximately 17.2 pounds the lower sash 18 pounds.
