Do these work with sliding windows (left to right) instead of up and down windows? And would I need one kit per slider? We have two sliders on one large living room window, opposite sides.

I have identified the replacement as S-170 408 Coiled Balance Spring. However I also need the assembly to which it screws into and can not find it in your listings. Can you direct me to it?

I just sent another question earlier. I thought they were S351-25 but I think these are more like S390-25. Any rate the stamp still says 2490. I would like to replace 4 of them.

Is the shaft that goes thru the screen frame on the 70-009 and 70-008 the same thickness with only the top being a different size. I don't know what the thickness of the top on my old pins are. Looking for the plastic piece that holds the window and screen in p;ace in a storm door. Picture attached with a dime under it. It's a Sears storm door model #656. I need 4 pieces (for two storm doors) 41 1/2 inches long.

I just got 18 S385-13 channel balances. The balances appear to be a good match with the old parts, but upon installation of the first pair, my window is hard to lift, it sags when I let it go in the up position, and it makes a springy, boingy sound when it's moving. What is wrong? ... (cont.)
