Just bought an 82-218 mortise lock for an American Craftsman sliding door. Looks like the old lock, but if I use it right side up, the existing door handles can only fit in the backward position. Angled tip broke off,from inside of room looking out, it is the one on the right side of window.

As you can see from one of the photos threaded crank shaft where the window crank handle is supposed to fit onto it, is completely missing. The picture is for handle lock . It is from the same window as the truth operator. Dimensions for hansle lock: From pivot center to end of tab is 2.25". What size screw fits the hole in the 70-086 clip? Is it pan head? How far below the clip would a 3/4" screw project? Do you carry such a screw in stainless steel (or other non-rusting in a seaside atmosphere) with a white head? Thanks.

Hello, I've got older Acorn tilt out windows. They slide up and down. The spring on the side is shot and I need parts. The silver part of the spring is 29" long. the crank handle rotates but my window does not open. the cover part number is 1361529 /1361530. i tried tightening , but no luck. do i need to replace the entire lock assembly? or do i just need to tighten a part that is not catching the handle to move the window mechanism.
