Stamped on the coil is 405 j. All I need is one balance but would take a few more if available

I'm looking for this brass window hardware. It may be called a "spur" fastener or latch. The hole at the end allows us to open the window from afar as it is only accessible by a long rod (boat hook). Good morning, and thanks for posting! Please see SWISCO product code 26-336, Simonton Pivot Bar. It appears to be very similar to your own hardware. Compare the measurements and let us know if they differ in any way.

Swisco, i'm not sure if I need to replace my balance springs or not. My windows were put in June, 2005. They are extremely hard to open and close throughout the entire house. It's hard to believe that all balance springs went bad, or if they were simply installed incorrectly. What do you think ... (cont.)

Thanks for posting! Before I can offer an applicable replacement for this channel balance, I just need to know a bit more information about the bottom attachment. I am looking for snap in window glazing to replace that shown in the attached photo. It extends out of the window frame 1/2" and the square edge is about 1/4" wide. Hi. I need 2 types of channel balances please. 1st being 27" long, 1/2' wide, stamped 2630. 2nd being 17" long, 1/2' wide, stamped 1630. please see attached for end pieces.
