I need to replace about 28 balance of different sizes. The window were manufacture by windowmaster in san diego in 1992. The number on this balance is 2970 BSI og 30. I would like to know what series they are so i can replace. I'm sending you some picture.

When installing a set of new balancers, how many turns should be used as a initial starting point for setting the tension. In as much as over tightening can damage the spiral, having a good starting point seems valuable.

Do you have this Roto base? The number on it is G2-DSCP-01. You sell something similar but the holes to mount the base to the window do not line up with the original. Product Code: 39-248. The sash balances I have measure 25" long and 1/2" wide -- printed with 2420. I am I correct in matching these to the Series 350 in 25" long with option 2420? Thanks for your help before I order.
