the top window falls down freely without it. All the weight of the window comes down from the above window.

Milguard Windows sliding glass door, built in 1993 so door likely dates from 1992/93. the internal mechanism is broken, latch does not extend or retract with handle movement, it just...sits there listlessly. The latch is broken in the locked mode. Window cannot be opened. Ply Gem Windows told me that you handle all of their repair part. I hope you can help me. I have two sets of balances I am trying to repair. Both are 28 inches in length. One is stamped Unique27-D-40, the other white one is 28F and some symbols.
