Hello, I've narrowed down the window balance replacement that I need to either the S380 or S385. The only issue I'm seeing with the balance I took out of my window is the bottom shoe appears to measure 1 1/16 so it's right between the two available options. Do you recommend to go with the 1" o ... (cont.)

Looking to replace channel balance for a pgt sh 4000 window. Non tilt window, bottom sash is 37x50 5/8 inches. Window weighs aprox. 20 lbs. Also, the channel balance is 24 inches long.

Opened window and then it wouldn?t close. Then I noticed that part of the white string was hanging out the top. Figured out how to take out the spring and got it out of the window channel. I am pretty sure the replacement is series 390. On the existing balances the o only markings are 21 A and 21 B. Does this suggest there is a right and left balance?
