Need the part you push in to lower the window and when you lift the window it holds it open till push it in to release the window to close

The handle has a brass exterior plate (6 1/2 x 1 1/2) interior handle (3 1/2 x 1) white, with a lever handle. The connecting post and screws are 1 1/2 apart. The exterior handle is a brass ball. The stamp on my balance is 08-06-04 Unique Balance 27D but the measurement from top to bottom of metal channel piece is 28". So am I ordering 27D or do I really need 28D?
