I am curious if you have access to this style of glazing bead. The windows were built in 1987 and recently the insulated unit have fogged and I have got some replacement units for the same. have double hung King windows(1971) - plastic slider inside side track broke - this holds a pin that is on the base of sash and it has a spring attached inside the track to maintain tension to hold window up - need this slider - or do you have new tracks with slider that would replace existing ones? ... I have a biltbest casement window from 1979 that I need to replace the hinges on. The replacement hinges that I have found elsewhere are a different size with different end pieces. Do you have a hinge set from the earlier models or do I need to retrofit a new one on.

The window frames are made of white plastic, like PVC even the glazing beads are black. White color would be better I think. Long lip on the glazing beads goes partially in between the frame and the double pane glass (please see the attached picture). Thank you Ned

Hi! Thank you for having this discussion board! I'm trying to replace the glazing beads of 3 windows. I'm not sure where to get a like-kind product. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The current ones are hard and brittle.

1) are the black the strongest graduating down to white? 2) is a stronger balance more likely to last longer? 3) can spiral balance windows be fitted with an improved balance that might last longer? Although I have limited window experience, I am a retired carpenter and good with mixi ... (cont.)
