Hello Swisco, I need to replace one balance shoe on my double-hung window, I think it's an American Craftsmen 70 series window or similar. Rough measurements are 1 3/4 inches across, 5/8 inch thick, 2 1/8 inches tall.

Hi, The thread in a channel balance snapped and the balance fell out of the window frame. The attached photos show the number printed on the channel balance, the top guide and the bottom shoe. I have a 1980's window screen for a triple track window Contender Deluxe Tilt. I am looking for the piece seen in photo # 3. As you can see in photos #'s 1 and 2 the "right angle piece" that goes into the track broke off. The underside of the broken piece has the #'s 1025 on it.

Both of my spring balances have disconnected from one of my windows. As I try to reinstall them I believe I need less tension on the spring. I cannot determine if it is possible to lower the tension on the springs and if so, how. If it is not possible, can I order new spring balances from you 27" o ... (cont.)
