Attached is a photo of two types of weatherstripping on my Pozzi casements windows. The kerfed white foam filled bulb type is where the casements shut together. My windows are Certainteed double-hung in an almond/putty color. You an compare it a bit to the white-ish paper in the photo. I bought 58-182 weatherstrip for the bottom of double hung windows. The track it slides into is closed at both ends. How do I install it?

The dark looking weatherstrip is the original and appears to be in a track that is closed at the top and bottom. The other 2 pictures show the track empty and what the top looks like. Bottom is the same. So I am not sure how to slide a new one in unless you have one that is self adhesive. ... (cont.)
