39-268 Wood Casement Window Operator

Attached are pictures of casement hardware of an original 1938 window. I am missing the crank and latch for the window but would be willing to get all new hardware if you have something that works. The window is only 13" wide.

I need 10 cranks because all are now broken they are made with square ends

Hi, We live in a condo that was once an early 19th century manor house. We do not know how old the windows are, but the cranks appear to be antiquated brass cranks (that need polishing). This is a operator for a 70 year old wooden window. It's 7 inches long? although would still work if somewhat longer. The window has hinges at the top so opens from the bottom As you can see, the mounting and window are at 90 degree angle. Have anything that would work?

I've ordered several of the 39-268 crank operators and they all come with a piece that is not mentioned in these instructions. It's a flat piece of metal with a large hole (a bit bigger around than the crank) and two smaller holes on either side (presumably for screws). What is the purpose of this p ... (cont.)

My home is a 1912 Craftsman and 4 windows with stained glass have the attached crank style handles that are in dire need of replacement. Any ideas or suggestions on replacements? I am not opposed to updated cranks.

Hi Tim. These old Push Bar operators are hard to come by now, but take a look at our 39-370, or perhaps our 39-268. Compare with your old parts and see if you think one of these might work for you.
