Received the replacements parts that I ordered and they almost fit - I know famous last words. In any case the shaft is just a smidge (1/4"?) too long so ther handle is loose. Suggestions? Thanks, Craig

do each of these two handle secure with a set screw? Or is one handle attached permanently to the shaft? I am looking for two individual handles, each with a set screw, in brass.

we have the exact EMCO pado storm door. is the 40-101 Swisco Mortise the exact replacement to the 40-049 mechanism... I cannot find any numbers on the old mortise... it is too old we believe. We appreciate any help...

I recently spoke with someone from customer service who was going to attempt to find a replacement part (most importantly the spindle) in order to fix this door handle. She mentioned that she needed a picture of the door. Attached you will find two pictures.
