40-150 Inside Handle, 1-3/4"

I have ordered and received an inside door handle. it is item # 40-150. It appears to be the correct part, but the hole that goes over the center rod is too small. I'll bet it's adjustable, but I can't figure out how to do so. Can you help me?

I bought Swisco part number 40-150 to replace the door handle on my Forever Door. However, the inside doesn't match up with the current exterior handle. Can I purchase new outside handles that will match the 40-150?

Door handle has no spring. Do I need just an inner handle or both outer and inner? Which model looks like a match. Bought from home depot about 7 years ago.

my front and rear door handles are discolored my front door serial number is 3602452 and my rear door is 344507 could you tell me the part numbers so i can order them please !

I am able to get the spindle insert on the new latch out OK but cannot get the spindle itself out of old door latch inside handle assembly. Any trick to removing or is this another replaceable part?

The spring appears to have broken on the door lock set. I am enclosing 2 photos of the front and back of the set. I would like to replace the entire handle/lock set.

Does part #40-150 have an internal spring that rotates in both directions to return the outside lever to the neutral position. My lockset works fine except the internal latch spring broke. The product description indicates that I can remove the insert to fit my spindle. I need to do this (otherwise, everything fits perfectly). But how do I remove it? There has to be a trick I haven't figured out! (I tried to pry it out with a screwdriver - that didn't work.) Thanks. Coll ... (cont.)

the door latch on my front storm door just spins around 360 degrees and I can't figure out how to fix it. I was wondering if I need to buy a new latch. The spring in the door handled had broken and I have ordered and received the replacement top part of my storm door (40-150) from a photograph on your website that a customer had the same problem. I need assistance in helping to install this part. Can you assist me ASAP?

I have a Forever View Full Glass door. The serial number listed is A-824493. The glass size is 75" tall and 31" wide. The brass handle broke and I am looking to find and replace.

The spindle size on my Forever door measures .32" across. The description for the 40-150 indicates 1/8" or 3/8" spindle. Will this work for my application? Thanks!

My storm door lock is broken. The outside handle hangs down. I believe it is due to the inside handle. My inside looks like the 40-150, however, the spindle coming through the door from outside to inside handle is 5/16 in. what do I order. thanks Bruce
