Weather Stripping Needed
I'm interested in your product number 58-021. We have vacation trailer in Arizona that needs Window weatherstrip replacement. I bought Home Depots 3/16 by .156. The width was perfect but the pile height was too short. I'm looking for about a 3/16th height. In attempting to use the Home Depot product ... (cont.)

~1950's Aluminum Awning Window Weatherstripping
I'm trying to identify the attached weatherstripping for some circa 1950s awning windows. The size of the base is approx. 3/16 as best I can tell, although it seems to have a slight bend to it. You'll see the bubble or whatever was actually being compressed is no longer there, so no idea of the size ... (cont.)

Wool pile... Base appears to be 3/16, with a single fin.
I'have several windows in my house in similar condition, where the weather strip has worn down, or away. I cannot ascertain the height of the pile though. The windows are all Alenco 3710/3710F Windows, manufactured in 2000-2002. Not sure which the best part would be. Thanks

window wool pile insulation ID question
The doors you helped me order pile insulation for turned out so well, I'm going for the old aluminum windows, too. I think this is your part 58-002 in gray. Looks like 3/16 x 3/16, no center fin. What do you think, please? I'll need to order some. Thanks, DC

wool pile replacement
I recently purchased items number 58-002 and 58-021 for replacement wool pile for my storm windows but it didn't fit. It appears that the original wool pile base was not very thick and sort of looked like a canvas material and that the items purchased would not fit due to the thickness of the base ... (cont.)

weatherstripping
I have Alenco single sash and slider windows from 1992. I measured the wool weather stripping with calipers and got 3/16" x 3/16". The question I have is: because the window is over 20 years old, will the height of the weather stripping wear? Is the weather stripping really 3/16" or could it be 1 ... (cont.)
